Adblue in 2.2 Bluetec engines

Dear all,

I have a technical question to ask all of you running the 2.2cdi Bluetec engine.

How long does your Adblue tank last please between fills?

I know the documentation says, "between services" but I am particularly interested in hard data on this, so any of you who fill yours up at home, if you have a note of miles travelled between fills (and how much you fill up by) please can you let me know, Many thanks!

Not sure on that model Craig, but if it helps in any way, my A6 also said 'between services', but had to be topped up fairly considerably at 6k.(7 litres)

Craig. My W221 S350 has the AdBlu tank in the boot spare wheel well, takes 23litres and lasts approx 20k miles, or more than between services.

Check out the online owners manual for the particular model, it should tell you the AdBlu tank capacity and location.

Thank you gents, both numbers support ~900 miles/ litre. That is very useful.

I think you Should also get a warning to say non start in (eg.) 200miles
