Any you guys kept your standard stereo but hooked up a subwoofer/amp?

If so how?

I have a audio 20 stereo is there a way to add RCA and REMOTE to this?

Can you not simply connect a sub by tapping in to one of the front speaker cables to use as feed for sub?

I didn't need to do this as i put a much nicer head unit in the car, but i'm sure you could connect into a normal speaker lead to provide feed instead.

I don't know anything about the Audio 20 but I believe there's more than one model. You'll have to find out which model it is and whether it has line level outputs. If it does, use a subwoofer output (if there is one) or take front L & R outs to a sub amp where they can be summed and a low-pass filter applied before it feeds the sub

For best results you should have a high-pass filter in the feed to the rest of the system. This filters bass out of the speakers and allows them to play louder with less distortion as the bass end is handled by the sub
