CLK 320 Avantgarde 2003
Morning all ....

I have recently had my command unit removed and an Alpine 910 unit fitted - obviously this has removed the navi and telephone from the command but the Alpine is a lot better. However removing the command unit has also removed the system setting function and now I find that I can't adjust the clock on the car .... does anyone know how to adjust he clock without using the command unit on a CLK 320 (2002/3 model) ....

Thanks in advance

No idea just an educated guess but: I would think that the ins. needs coding for a normal sound system on Star Diagnosis.

I can as the indy merc place that I go to - in fact thats a good idea ... trouble is there does not seem to be any device or button etc that will adjust the clock if a command is not there .... i wonder how it is done for those models that did not have the command (there must be a button etc that is used)??

If any one has CLK 320 or similar with no command how do you adjust the clock?

Thanks

I don't know much about the CLK , however, on my C class the adjustments are done using the steering wheel buttons.
I call up the relevant settings on the left of the wheel and adjust the the clock using the + & - buttons for the radio volume.

If you have the 209 (later version CLK) - in the manual it tells you how to change the time via the steering wheel controls (settings, time) but also states that you will only see this function if you have the audio 10. If equipped with Command or Audio 30 you set the time via the audio system.

It does look like you may need to have the settings changed so that it knows you no longer have Command.
