There has been some ads on TV for multicar insurance, basically you put all your cars on one policy...or so I thought.

It turns out you have still got two policies but you get a discount (23%) if you insure them with Admiral.

"How can they do this?" I hear you ask...easy...they quote you 33% more than you are paying at the moment.

When I was getting my quote, their software didn't seem to have heard of 230TE so that is now a 200E.

I filled the forms on the web with them for my two, 6 weeks ago , and the saving was more than £300 a year. I should give them a try, no one loves me so only one car gets driven at a time.

I only drive one car at a time as well, you would think the quote you got would be the same as the highest risk car.

My two current policies total £400...if I could save £300...

I put in lower milages, for the quote, and it still came out more than I am paying at the moment. I also said I had a company car as well (which I do). I also have a years (x2) more no claims to add on, it was still more!

My two current policies are cheaper and give me more scope to shop around.
