Advice on selling my CLK

Sadly its time to say goodbye to my CLK 320 (2000 W with 36k). Nothing wrong with the car other than it upsets my customers. Am most likely going to go for an anonymous car - Subaru Forester XT is leading the pack at present.

So here's the question. Financially it makes sense to sell the CLK privately and buy its relacement with no trade in. From what I can see I could expect to get £19.5k for trade in, maybe £21k as a private sale. Trouble is I have neither the time or inclination to sell privately, am wondering if any companies sell on a commission basis - I could bear maybe two months of paying the finance on two cars. But in general, any advice you can offer would be appreciated.

There are companies that will sell your car as a consignment. Your local MB dealer may also do that for you if you ask.

Well, I took it to my local MB dealer who was interested in buying the CLK off me - interested enough to ring me about it. In fact offered me £17k for it! I coughed and politely declined. Subaru lent me a Forester TX (the one with the turbo) for a couple of days. 5t certainly isn't a mercedes but given a decent trade in offer I think its the way I'm going.
