thats very nice one thing ive noticed some have the gear selector central to the left of the seat and some on the steering column iare they both the same in effect
Depends on the age of the car, W211 E Class have the gear selector on the transmission tunnel, later E’s have the selector on the “tree”

Doing 100 miles a day I would want something a bit more exciting than an E class diesel unless fuel economy is a priority. That's just me though. Do you need a load logger, is mpg a priority, does size matter.

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- ford kuga 65 plate awd powershift .
E250 all day . Comfort
. Power . Looks . All in 1 .

Think the 220 at 175 BHP maybe a struggle with the weight. Having said that plenty pass me when I'm doing 80 . 70 sorry. Possibly remap is another option.

Those W213 would be my choice
Don’t think you can get a E220d for £10k :(

I agree with you though. Just seen 220d SE estates for just less than £30k brand new from MB :)

I have a clc 220 cdi 2010 model.
Had it remapped and its a world of difference. Changed the car completely. Well worth doing.
Cheap as chips to do as well.

That one looks nicer.
The first one has had the wheels & break callipers resprayed. Plus a couple of the tyres look perished.
