Advice please

My husband is a member on here and has a mercedes e220 cdi avantgarde estate 2011, he's recently been in hospital after a stroke, he will not be able to drive again so I will be putting it on ebay, please can anyone tell me how much I should be selling it for.
It has mot until July and has done 202000 miles.

Really, all he said was don't worry I'll sort it, he always says that and it's magically done. That would explain why he sold his motorbike that he's had since he was 16.

It's quite a shock getting valuations sometimes.

You can always start higher and see what happens but sometimes it puts people off for good.

Regarding the car, unfortunately money spent previously is not accounted for when traders give valuations.
Try putting the car details into Motorway, Cazoo and WBAC to see what they will offer.

My daughter sold her 66 plate car on Motorwaylast Sept and got a great price. Just be honest when describing its condition.
It's a very painless way of getting the car sold without tyre kickers coming round offering silly low amounts.

Be brave. E Class REALLY hold their value and the 212 is a very nice car. If you have thorough service history, receipts etc they are all worth it in the sales price. Stick to your guns.

Hi Karen, give our regards to Tony and I am sure I speak for many in here.

I know Tony had many issues with the car initially and was on here alot asking for advice - I think he even used a garage I mentioned and he was 99.9% getting the car absolutely perfect, yes he did mention his budget restaints.

Given what Tony put into the car, you wont get it back, so a lucky buyer will. Perhaps keeping the car in the family (kids) is an option and to be discussed with Tony - he really put alot into it was considering selling it soon after he got it.

Sorry to hear your news, sounds like you've been through a lot recently, maybe just take some time to think about what to do rather than rush into selling something that has obviously been important over the time you've owned it.
