strange one, i know, but im currently in the process of aquiring some merc related software for my pc. one is called Mercedes WEB ETM, apparently a component location program and i think it may contain wiring diagrams too, one is the 2008 EPC and one is the 2008 WIS ASRA (whatever ASRA is!) assuming they work, and i get to know how to use them, how useful will they be for both myself and (hopefully) other forum users?

They are very useful, the newer versions are better when it comes to the wiring diagrams. they do take a fair amount of time to get to use them. When giving any advice from them you have to be sure that you have the right version of the car, its fine with your own as you have the VIN of the car

It is not practical to send anyone wiring diagrams as the legends are not easy to print off and the circuits will use about 4 pages, but handy to find faults and what is joined to what on SAMs etc, it took me 18 months to get the best out of it

oh well, i guess itll take me a while then! they were just downloads too, rather than on discs so ive had to decompress the files to make them easily readable for a computer novice like me!
