Advice wanted on a spluttery 124...

Evening guys.

This week my 94 E220 Coupe has had a slightly erratic idle, even when warmed up.

Occaisionally it has stalled when sat in traffic and in D whilst holding the brake pedal.

The other thing ive noticed is after parking up when the journey has had the erratic idle, there is a smell of petrol outside the car.

Am I right in suspecting the O2 sensor?
