BM do “Series” Mercedes do “Class”…
They’ve been making the A-Class for more than 20 years so you might need to narrow it down a bit…
The latest one (from mid 2018) has the most tech for the driver which is what most want these days. As long as it has plenty of warranty you’ll be fine.
Personally I wouldn’t have any brand of modern Euro 6 diesel (unless I was covering over 30k miles pa). So pick a petrol and enjoy
