Hi. Ever since I took ownership of the car about 2 years ago it has had a rough "shift" from a standing start with an intermittent thud as the car accelerates and the same when slowing down. I assumed it was the auto box so had the fluid changed and checked by a specialist with no issues. I have used a iCarSoft scanner looking for faults causing the engine light to be on. (all now resolved) but the following fault code is still there. "Diagnosis of tumble flap 'Intake manifold': Short circuit to ground of sensor lines / Tumble flap shafts stick in the actuated position, (P2004)" I tried to check the linkage with a flexible camera probe but I can't see anything. It seams likely that the issues I am having is the intake manifold flaps and actuator but a lot of work if it isn't.

Has anyone had this type of symptom and it was the manifold? I don't have any backfiring or missing. The car has done 120,000 miles

Many thanks
