Air blower doesn't switch off with ignition key out

Hi
I need some advice, the aircon blower blows on full, doesn't switch off even when the ignition key is out. I am unable to adjust the speed as even at the lowest setting it blows on full. The AC light is always on, unable to switch it off. I changed the resistor and the the problem persisted. Any advice? Mercedes 220e Diesel 2015

You could try
a) run away in case the demon possessing your car goes after you next?
b) disconnect the battery. This will hopefully stop the fan but may serve the purpose of resetting the system.

What does the 'e' mean in 220e?
Is this a hybrid battery car, and does it have a cabin pre-heat function/system that can be turned on even with the car off? If so, that is the likely system at fault.

Hooking up to STAR diagnostics sounds like it's going to be necessary to look at this at Mercedes or an Independent Specialist.
