Hi everyone, ive got a c250 td 1999 model, cant understand why there is so many air bubbles in the fuel line between the fuel filters and the injection pump.Had problems before with the leak off hoses blowing off due to back pressure which led to other problems in the long term.Had all the fuel lines changed along with other bits in the engine bay,the only other area thats not been touched is the fuel tank, does anybody know if theres filters in the tanks that could be blocked and causing air to be pulled in from some where else, also would a lot of air bubbles cause injector rattle. many thanks for any ideas.:)

Normally the air is due to the o rings on the low pressure lines to and from the filter.

If the fault persist , then change the pipes as well, only use MB rings and pipes to ensure a good fit
