which button is air conditioning on a 2000 clk? is it EC?

i think that switchs it off. EC should be economy mode i think. when you press it it should light up to say the compressor is off.

If you have Climate Control, it will come on when needed. IE Its 21 outside and you set 18 on the Auto Gauge.

The EC button will stop this happening.

The 'REST' button will keep the car warm/cool if you press it when you're leaving the car. Don't worry, it won't allow the fan run your battery down.

Air Conditioning Cleaner In A Can

hi

i read in auto express weekly about a product that cleans out hte air conditiong in your car.
Basically you switch the air con on , and open the aerosol can, and leave it and this kills all the bacteria in the unit.and the car smells fresh again.

has anyone used this product or anything similar.

Yes. Didn't notice the difference but have faith that it did something I couldn't see. I have a can of it.

They should add some "new car" smell to it.
