Air Filter

Hi All

Its been sometime since my last posting so I felt I need to ask a question.... a valid one for me plz..

I need a new air filter which will cost £20 from MB - not bad. Can someone please give me some insight to what this large airfilter does and when replacing with a new one will my fuel consumpetion better!?

It stops crap like leaves, dirt and flies from getting into the engine cylinders. A blocked air filter will reduce the efficiency of the engine so yes do replace it every 10,000 or so.

£20 is a bit pricey though, I'd just go to Euro Car Parts and get one there.
