W212 Diesel E220 (year 2012)

I have not priced MB filters or say Bosch for example, but I am wondering if OEM parts are particularly necessary for the above cars.

Normally there is only a couple of quid difference so I just use MB filters

Air filters not so important as oil filters being OEM
I've fitted Gutman air filters simply because I got them for next to nothing in an ECP sale.
But I'd only ever fit an MB oil filter.

Air filters, OEM from Grangemouth MB. Ask for Neil on the parts desk and tell him you’re on the Owners Forum.

And fuel filter for got MB ones, they are musty a few quid more but sometimes a 2£ will give a peace of mind for having the MB specification in place. I always go for MB part they last longer
