Air flow meter c200k xreg

Hi there everyone i recently bought a c200 kompressor year 2000 xreg i need an air flow meter as mine seems to not work properly since i had a battery failure which is apparently common does anyone know where i can get one fairly cheap? I am near stansted airport any help would be much appreciated many thanks Jason

I just cleaned mine, structurally they are different between 97 W202 and 2001 R170. There are two delicate short wires and a diode in one and a capacitor in the other. I wonder how it works?

There are 2 types,, the hot wire version measures the resistance change as the hot or cold air passes over it, the sensor type (later) does the same job only more accurate as it is encapsulated
