Hi all, hope someone out there can help me. Recently I've found all four of the electric windows on my wife's a160 (year 2000) will go down fine but they're a nightmare to get back up. Basically I need to 'pulse' the switch and physically help the window up with my hand. I figured a relay had started to play up, but I can't find a relay for the system on the relay position map under the footwell (with the battery, fuses etc.)
I don't know whether this has anything to do with it, but I recently had to replace my battery and the problem has appeared since. Might just be a coincidence though.
Any help and advice would be most gratefully received. Thanks.

Doubt its a relay as if they move at all they should keep moving (relay either works or doesn't)
. If you've replaced the battery, it sounds like the windows have lost their settings. Get them all the way up and then hold the up button in for at least 5 seconds to fix the stop point. Then do the same for down.

Hi again! That's done the trick, thank you very much for your advice. Yes the A160 does have both up and down one touch operation on all the windows, and all mine are working now!
Thanks again.
