Hi Folks,

Need some advice please.

I seem to have what appears to be a rust bubble appearing on one of my alloy wheels on my CLK. The car itself is just 12 months old. I will be taking it to the dealers tomorrow to show them.

What level of service should I expect from them? Should I expect a complete wheel replacement or should I be happy for them to do a smart repair or something of the like?

I really would like a complete new wheel because the car is only a year old and don't expect something like this to happen but would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

It is actually nearer to the centre of the wheel just outside one of the studs.

Quite wierd actually. Maybe it was a dodgy wheel to begin with..

I would expect them to photograph the bubble, submit it to MB and get clearance to replace the wheel.
