Alloy Wheel Repair?

Hi All

Does anyone know of a good place to get alloy wheels refurbished in the Newcastle area?

I was also wondering if there are any good mobile repairers. I know that there are a lot of people who will come and mask the tyre then spray new paint on but I have heard of a mobile service which will remove the tyre, shotblast the rim then paint and bake..... does anyone know if this service is available? Talking of tyre removal is any tyre damage likely if tyres are removed and refitted? Any comments appreciated..

Not in your area, so cant recommend anyone, but what you are looking for is a powder coaters. This process carried out by spraying a fine powder paint (plastic particles), which clings to the item by means of a static charge passed through item, it is then passed into an oven which bakes to powder on, really just melting the powder, as very soft until cooled, but quicker than painting and also more costly, but good finish.
Now doing my own AMGs had tyres removed and doing prep and spray myself.

Another board recommended a company called SEM in Southwick, Sunderland but I haven't got around to checking them out. Having kerbed a wheel I need to do something. Can anyone recommend them (or not)?

Hi mate theres a place in blackburn that do that. take tyre off, spray it and bake it. Ive used them before and they do a fantastic job. Ive got the number 07792581166 and i think the name was yas.
