hi I wonder if anyone can help me please?

I have just bought a SLK200 (170) R reg (it is an import) tyre size:205-60R-15& I would like to replace them with:
  • front: 225-45-17
  • rear: 245-40-17
the rim width on these replacements is 8.5J & wheel code is A1714012302

Does anyone know if these would fit on my car without using spacers .or whatever else is required in other words 'can I just put them straight on?'

thanks very much

On the inside of your wheels on one of the spokes there is an ET number, you need this, could be ET37

The new wheels in the 17" size would be Ok with an ET of 30-37

The tyre size is correct

Why not go for 18" while you are at it? They will look soo much better.

I think that she has done the right thing, best of both worlds
