Hi all,

I have recently bought a 1999 SLK 230 and some how managed to curb the passengers front wheel (I Know, I Know Women Drivers...)

Im new to driving a merc, so I was wondering if it would be better to refurb the wheels or buy new ones? Can you advise please?

All help appreciated......

Regards

Welcome to MB ownershop!!

I'd personally be inclined to re-furb the original unless it's beyond repair. A place in Birmingham were advertising less than £30 per wheel, which is very reasonable in my eyes.

There are plenty of specialists all over the UK - including mobile repairers. Dealers often provide a wheel re-furb service - but they usually get the mobile repairer in, and charge a margin on top!!

Whereabouts are you??

Hope this helps.
