Can anyone recommend where I can buy some 8-hole alloys, as fitted to the later W124 coupes? Mine ('89 300CE) has the earlier wheels which are pretty ugly, and as the tyres are getting low I thought it would be nice to give the car a make-over (along with the nicer late model lights too).

I keep looking on ebay, but no luck so far...

Cheers,

Nik

On the other hand, have you considered something off a newer model like on mine? I think they suit W124 CE quite nicely waddya recon? I paid £200 for them privately (with part worn tyres).

Eurocarparts do replica 8 holes with tyres for about £400. However the offset is wrong so they do widen your track a bit.
The real ones are still available from MB, about £105 each for sportline size. (15x7"ET41).
If your "ugly" wheels are flat face alloys you should sell them easily, most people like them!

I bought mine (16 inch 8 Hole Alloys) genuine MB stuff from eBay about 6 months ago for £20 each .. you need to keep looking in EBay ...

I dont trust them replicas ... you get what you pay for !
