(Almost) new ML430 owner - Advice.....!

Hi Guys - new to the group!

I'm about to buy a used ML430.  Any tips to look for when collecting? (from main dealer so should be clean!?!?)

Also any tips/useful info on ownership of an ML430? or just general opinions/stories of them?

Don't have any advice - would be interested to hear your thoughts on ownership - driving - cost etc.

Well I take delivery of it today. Had a good test drive on Tuesday and was very impressed.

Had only driven ML320s and ML270cdi's before, and it is like a totally different car. Seems better screwed together and certainly more 'planted' on the road - far more than the extra 80-100kgs suggests it should be.  

Performance is quite astonishing for the size of car. I currently run a BMW 330d - itself no slouch, and this 2-tonne leviathan shows the 330d a clean pair of heels. Handling is very good for the size, but obviously a world away from a RWD car!! But then that wasn't what I bought it for as I have a Diablo performance car for the weekend, sir!

All in all a really nice car, and hence why I have snapped it up!!  As I say, it's being delivered today so living with comments will be along soon.....!
