I think I can predict the answer to the heading on this post..
Yesterday I used Mr Sheen on the engine cover and the bits and pieces in the engine bay..
It ran sooo much smoother once I had done that

Of course the fact I have new rear tyres on that are newly balanced may well have something to do with the smoothness.

Not sad at all.. given the time I am always under the bonnet of any car I own . A degreaser dampened cloth is always good to wipe all the pipework
