I think I can predict the answer to the heading on this post..
Yesterday I used Mr Sheen on the engine cover and the bits and pieces in the engine bay..
It ran sooo much smoother once I had done that :)

Of course the fact I have new rear tyres on that are newly balanced may well have something to do with the smoothness.

Its not Sad at all, we always forget the engine when cleaning the car. I dont think it has anything to do with your smoother drive though:lol::lol::lol:

Not only will it run smoother but the MPG will improve and above all it increases the life expectancy of the prime move. Of course none of this is 'scientifically' proven so I guess I am asking for trouble by suggesting it to you:rolleyes:

Its all about commitment and being used to excellence becoming the standard, if ever one person deserves such a 'badge of honour' then Mr TV is your man:cool:. I have only met the man once but the trait is easily recognised:D:D

Wow! - This is an important breakthrough! Which 'flavour' Mr Sheen did you use - Original, citrus, oriental blossom, springfresh.......? ( The new tyres and balance are an obvious red herring! )

I shall try this out on my car immediately and assess the improved consumption that Dosco predicts.

A properly conducted comparative trial with, for example, Pledge is the obvious next step - and then who knows, maybe a shot of 'Mr Muscle sink and plughole unblocker' in the tank will unleash those hidden horsepower lurking under the bonnet........? ;):):)

There's a great follow-up line to this one Helen, but for the life of me I can't think what it is:rolleyes:
