Yep same shouty mouthy method of delivery too.
At least that bloke from Awestruckinfailure is mildly humourous at times and does have some proper useful information from time to time (if you can get past the presenting style).
I am a Mercedes fan so to speak and have owned such cars for the last 3 years.
While some of things he says are not justified, that report is. I do follow him on youtube just for the record.
A road going car, AMG or not, should not have those problems at that price. Nor should the person be flipped off by the dealer as a characteristic of the car. This is not a race car for the road, but a road car for the track. Huge difference.
I have had mixed experiences woth different MB dealers as well. Funny that the two dealers are 40 miles apart but operate in a very different fashion.
I had a fight to get a ****** stat changed under warranty at the same dealer that sold me the car and did me over on the finance as well, which I admit is my fault.
Other said dealer is happy to try and sell me a car at the lowest APR going and is much friendlier. Safe to say where mine will be going for servicing in the future.
Yes that case he highlighted is pretty poor and sadly not unique to MB Australia customer service. It's also not unique to MB as brand (which still doesn't excuse MB).
My beef with the arrogant John Cadogan (who has been referred to before now as the automotive Donald Trump) is the bombastic bullying "if you don't agree with me you're a w*nker" style of clickbait he produces. Yes there are some nuggets of information but you have to put up with a lot of sh*t being thrown by him to find them.
Fundamentally he gets a kickback from YouTube for every video watched. Hardly surprising he produces clickbait.
You just have to look at what he calls himself... AutoExpert.... FFS....
I wouldn't click anything with his face on it. The beard doesn't disguise him well enough for me to click.
Only saw one video of his and didn't watch it to the end, he's more annoying than The Annoying Thing.
