Hi all,

I have searched through all the questions in the forums in case my question has already been answered... couldn't find a similar question, which now worries me in a little as my problem is obviously being caused by something I am doing... or not doing right...

I am attempting to change the left dipped beam on my 2003 E200. I got the blown bulb out without any issue and have inserted my replacement bulb, but I cannot get the bulb holder to clip back into the the casing. The bayonet type clip does not want to cooperate. Is there some knack to getting this bulb holder to clip back into place i.e. when I turn the bulb holder clockwise (as per the on link manuals the bayonet clips will just not clip into place... how much force should these need ?

Any and all help very much appreciated.

Thanks

I would have said that the bulb was not in its correct position rotation wise, some bulbs will almost go in the wrong way,but then you cant attach the wire clip.
