When i bought my wheels they came with Pirelli Pzero Rosso's on the front and Dunlop Sp sport maxx's on the back all sizes are 235/40/18

I had a puncture in the summer on one of the dunlops and now the other one is getting close to the limit so im thinking of replacing it with the same tyre to match the new one that was fitted after the puncture.

Ive read the sp sport maxx is good in the dry and ok in the wet but the pirelli's that are on the front are better in the wet so would it be worth swapping them around to have the perelli's on the back and dunlops on the front?

New tyres should always go on the back.

The handling in the wet on the 2 makes that you mention are very close, but never mix on the same axle, I know that you were not going to do that
