Any Bluetecs in here?

I think my 2011 Bluetec has some irregular habits, and was wondering can you relate to this..

Irratic throttle response occasionally, and always when car is DPF regenerating- sometimes it can be hard to maintain a smooth drive as tiny adjustments to the throttle pedal can make the car judder (it is only slight, but definitely there, almost like a small hesitation/misfire). Only happens with tiny throttle adjustments-to maintain speed, give the car more throttle to accelerate and car is very smooth.

Never had anything like this with my E220 Bluetec.

Nothing on mine, you shouldn't be able to tell its doing a regen whilst driving, which happens every 300 miles or so.

Depends on driving style in general. Dealer says it will last between services, but not always. If for example you sit a lot with the car idling then it will go through it faster (logic being, it will still use the stuff just not cover any miles) etc. It is dependent on emissions to a degree as well, or how honest the manufacturer has been. Some engines need a lot more adblue to meet the emissions.

Around 12,000 miles or so. They’re sized to the typical mpg of the car.

Yeah, just go for the cheapest. Try not to spill it when topping up either or you’ll get rust promoting crystals of pig pi55 form...
