Any decent garage in Surrey? (280SL 1982)

My 1982 280SL has a water leakage in the driver's footroom. I would much prefer to bring it to a garage that has experience with older cars. (I tried MB in London but they seem to focus more on new cars and many of their mechanics are even younger than this car). Any advise is very much appreciated. Thank you. Oliver

Any Decent Garage inSurrey?

Hi there, my Father takes his 190E 1989, 189,000 miles car to K & S Motors Rear of 120 London Road Morden Surrey. A small garage, but they service and maintain Mercedes old and new, and BMW, a good garage, and their rates are just very very good.

They are opposite VW Whites of Morden Surrey. Speak to Karim.

As for the water in the passenger footwell, your drains are blocked. Lift the bonnet, on the nearside, there is a rectangle gap, ensure it's free of all debris, also remove ALL your nearside passanger carpet, easy to do, and dry thoroughly.

Gearge Fraser in Alperton is quite good with this SL's, although they now do a lot more modern stuff....

But top notch is John Haynes down on the south coast, forget exactly where, but he is expert with the older cars. Would like to treat mine to a once over by him, but no time at the mo...
