Amazing race yesterday, brilliant drive from Lewis! Great strategy from Mercedes.

I hope they keep V Bottas, in my opinion there's not much to gain in replacing him.

Tough call, but Albon can't do worse than Gasly.
Red Bull looks the business for the rest of the season.
I'm actually enjoying F1 this year!

They know Kvyat well so it makes sense to give him a run in the Senior squad and then see who will partner MV next year

Good move. I usually enjoy all races, but a few this year have made for a good watch.

RIP Anthoine Hubert.
Only 22 years old he was killed today during the F2 support race.

Long overdue victory for Leclerc, great drive by Norris and cruelly taken away from him, Albon shone in the Red Bull

Absolutely gutted for Chuck, car giving up so close to finish line. Especially after he's had some really good races.

Albon I think could be very interesting, very quickly. He seems to have a very good temperament on & off track.

Q3 was a joke. I'm still not sure how Vettel managed to get his time to stand either. He looked to be definitely over the white lines on the footage I saw.

Great result for Mercedes. Strategy played off brilliantly. Those Ferrari's are fast though. Loved Vettels strategy - "catch me then I'll let you by" which of course his teammate couldn't do.

I hate to say it and especially here on a Mercedes forum but here goes... I am not Hamilton's number one fan.

I will never forget when he was a young driver at McLaren and that abuse he hurled at first his engineer and then Ron Dennis when he was told to allow Alonso by during qualifying. Alonso was on a different strategy to Hamilton, this new rookie driver was instructed by his engineer to let Alonso by and yet Hamilton told his engineer to 'Go forth and sexually multiply'. then Ron Dennis ORDERED Hamilton to allow Alonso by and he got the same abuse. YES Hamilton has a huge bundle of talent and YES when he wins, he always says how it is a team sport and we 'win and lose together' but how many times do we hear him complaining when losing and always trying to blame someone else? Last season and again this season how many times have we heard the pit-wall instructing Bottas to either slow down or allow Hamilton by? The World's best driver should not need this and he always states how he does not like it, or agree with it.... yup, I saw those crocodile tears :)

I will never forget Senna allowing his team-mate to win a race, can anyone imagine Hamilton pulling over for his team mate?

Sorry but I like some of the younger drivers more than I like Hamilton.

Mmmm. Okay. Never knew this. Interesting information. However I do still like his ultimate goal of beating Schumacher’s goal of 7 championships. Needs to be done.

At the end of the day Hamilton was in it to win, and that is what he did and did it very well. He is the best F1 driver GB has ever had for sure. I would support him every time. :)
