Very good race in Miami, Americans always do things bigger and better. :D
Verstappen has the best car so with his talent he takes it to the No.1 position, which is exactly what Hamilton enjoyed for so many years.
Russell benefited from a safety car for the second time in 5 races to get ahead of his team mate, but thats racing.
Shame for Lando.

Explain please.

As I heard it on Sky F1 it is about burns and Scans, the FIA don't care what it is made of and if that metal will affect an MRI or other scan, they make 1 rule that applies across EVERY formula they run.

HAM is just looking to play the "poor me" card and not looking at the global picture that is affects EVERYONE who wears jewelry. The worst thing is they have caved and given him a "special dispensation" for a couple of races!!!!!

The only piece of it he had on for the race was the nose stud which he states he can't remove which is utter claptrat

It has already been stated that Hamiltons facial jewellery is made of platinum which is non magnetic so will not interfere with an MRI scan.
Regarding burns if the temperature is high enough to cause a problem with jewellery then the skin will probably already have melted.

We clearly have differing views on this which neither of us seem likely to change, so I am happy to agree to disagree. :)

Just for the record...
I do think Hamilton should comply with the rules, BUT, the rule has been in place for many years and it has never previously been enforced.
When a governing body picks and chooses which rules to enforce (or indeed disregard the rules on occasion) it is inevitably going to cause problems.

Dunno about "best car". Certainly best driver. The Ferraris are great. Both Ferrari drivers are at the front. Only Max keeps RB in front. Perez falls away in race nearly every time. Leclerc was setting fastest laps but couldn't maintain the pressure on Max. He gave up!!!

I have seen this pattern happen many times in the past, although it was with a different team.

Yes rules are rules after all...except when they are ignored.
Just saying it's not always black/white (no pun intended).

I think LH has a Prince Albert as well and has said he wouldn’t be removing it either.

Needs a hair cut as well
I think his hair looked absolutely fine...nothing wrong with it at all. :)
A full head of hair on a man is nothing to complain about.

I see reports that Red Bull have spent 75% of they're allowed budget on upgrades already this year!
They are super desperate to make sure their golden boy gets his first fairly won title.
I hope Ferrari beat them to the title this year...then to rub salt in the wound Mercedes come good and beat them to second place. :p

So 4 races in and they have given up!!!!! I don't think so!!!!
I watched an interview with Toto where he said this year would be a challenge, it was not usual one where he was fired up and adamant they would be victorious. They must have known during testing they were off the pace. They're still massively off the pace by nearly a second, and there is no amount of aero tweaking that will recover from that this year.

They're much closer than a second this weekend after the latest changes.
There's a very real probability of a podium this weekend.

Did they say what the changes were?
Floor, front wing, rear wing were the main changes.
They're definitely on the road to be competitive again.
Lewis was desperately unlucky. 2022 is not his season for luck!

Lewis unlucky?? What about poor Leclerc? No fault of his own. Lewis put himself in harm's way and paid the price.
