There has been some previous posts on this subject, you can search for "Manchester" to find these.

There are several Mercedes specialists in the area that I know of (the last ones are further away):

Dronsfields - Oldham
The Garage - Rossendale
SPR Autos - Macclesfield
Just Mercedes - Ancotes
Bucklow Garage - Knutsford
S&R Motor Engineers - Formby
Merx - Stoke on Trent
Andy Gale - Birmingham

You should have a look at previous posts to find out how good they are. I've used 2 and have these personal opinions:
a) SPR Autos (good, busy, and seems that no-one has a bad word to say about him), and
b) Dronsfields (difficult to deal with, have too much work on, but once you get through that they seem professional and do a good job)
