If yer interested it's owned (& being sold) by Jason Plato of BTCC fame & that dodgy car prog on TV

I live bout 2 miles from the TVR factory (or where it used to be before Nov 2006) seen this wee beastie several times out in the lanes near Weeton army barracks .............crazy mofo thing ........does everything A merc does but at amazing speeds if you on the M1 you'd need to start braking in Leeds to stop in Clapham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm afraid as far as I'm concerned TVR lost its way just before that Russian guy bought them. As soon as they introduced that model with the mulpiple lamp sockets at the front I just lost interest. Up til then I thought they were hand building some gorgeous quietly stylish English sports cars (albet that they were none too reliable).

Now they just create these ludicrously brash monstrocities that most sane people would frankly be a) embarrased to own and b) evenm embarrased enough not to sit in one if owned by a mate.

The car you're talk about is IMHO just ghastly! ;)

The No 1 biggest screw up TVR EVER made was building the "Tuscan" for the US Market

When they tried to sell it in the UK they were refused for not having seperate indicators fitted & they would have to redesign the entire back end to accomodate the new lights .............................................

their solution ........................hang the indicators from the top of the rear window ................. next time you are behind a tuscan have a look ........................bl***y awful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mate bought a cerbera and it was truly awful!! Didnt feel safe over 100mph( on the track) as bits started to fall into your lap.
He sold it after spending 2k in the 6 months he had it and 3 weeks later the bloke who bought it had to have a complete engine rebuild ,the wipers stopped working and the drivers door wouldnt open you had to crawl through the pasenger door!!!

Mind you the noise from the after market straight through exhaust was unbelievable and the acceleration was quite frightening!!
