Anyone heard of these insurers?

I bought my second hand merc recently and the dealer gave me this extended insurance:

AutoProtect underwritten by RedSands member of Hollard group (www.hollard.co.za)

Has anyone ever dealt with any of them? I am wondering if they are any good? I paid 700 for 3 year insurance.

Bit late to be checking up un them now, after you've paid.....

I was a broker for 28 years and i've never heard of them....

Try the DTI - you need their authorisation to sell insurance in the UK...

loads of dealers seem to use them so they must be kosher
