I had a Landrover called Rigby - the number plate was 230 ELR - so named Rigby after Elanor Rigby (It all seemed so logical at the time)

My little nightfire red metro was called Norbert

The megane was nicknamed "The Matmobile" by my (female) colleagues

The w124 is called Nancy due to the N-registration

W124 - Panzer
R129 - Tiger

All named after German tanks, my next car should be a replacement for the W124, I think it will be a W140 - Leopard :)
