I'd be slightly concerned by the 2500 miles in the past 6 years?

Yeh you are right, look at dvla mot history, looks like a clock change, but could be a type, then less than 100 miles per year for three years?? Hmmm

Looks like a typo on the 2014 mot mileage 52,960 I reckon should be 82,960 which would fit in with the pattern. A simple miss-key on the numeric pad if you think about the keypad layout.

Thats true ref the old mileage, my car has two discrepancies, but both due to being keyed incorrectly. Once my MOT station keyed in the mileage as 902k lol. I’ve been meaning to get them changed but no idea how to go about it.

The less than 100 miles per year for the past three don’t sound encouraging tbh.

It is the damage to the ABC with that mileage, from what I read on here it likes to be used.

I would be checking all the struts and service history to see how often the fluid has been changed

Less than 1,000 left on the road in the UK according to howmanyleft.co.uk, so time to buy now I would say. Prices will keep going up (he said hopefully).

I don’t think the clk55 will go up in value sadly :( At least not for a very long time. Mine I would say is the only clk55 convertible in this colour, never seen another mercedes in it in fact. I do wonder if I keep it up together if it will go up in value, but it has done 108k now and I like to use it still.

My clk has picked up a few battle scars the past year as well, cracked bumper again (pesky large kerbs in car parks), a couple of parking pin dents / dings, alloys flaking a bit etc. ****** stepper motor started clicking yesterday :/ Cars also been to mercedes twice, they can’t seem to set up geometry unless you consider drifting left constantly normal!

She’s still a well looked after car, but now I am deciding whether to get some paint and dings done, get the wheels refurbed, and pull the dash apart and replace all the steppers for peace of mind or whether to move on and get something different.

Part of me is bored and wants something new, but part of me won’t let go of the car and says spend some money on it.

Our daughters grown up now, and it’s only ever me and the missus that goes out on sunny days in the merc, so an SL55 would be a nice itch to scratch. A little bit more power, a different look but a loss of back seats and of course the potential pain in the ass suspension issues.
