If so, what happened, & did it have any effect on bulb failure warning lamp / relay?

Are the latest new cars only fitted with 1 working rear fog lamp?

Or was it only the 'E' class that had the nearside blanked off.

Thanks,
Keith.

also blanked off. All I had to do was bend the metal bit of the mother board down which provided feed, pop in a bulb, and presto chango, stereo fogs. No effect on the computer, and neither did adding a high-level brake light.

Thanks Myros

Stereo Fogs! & an "eye level" brake lamp fitted!

Which, Where & What brake lamp used?
Easy to fit?
Wher'd you get it please?

Must admit that when trailer fitted, all extra bulbs in circuit line work fine.

Keith.

I got one of those

slim wide multi-led ones from Ring lighting, cost about 6 quid, although I'm sure mercman or Dronsfields will have a Merc original if you ask nicely.
Go for the merc and you're better off having a new brake light switch, it has a feed for the high-level light built in, so you don't need to butcher any wires.
It was easy to fit anyway, as I just mounted it in the rear parcel shelf, ran the feed along underneath and then to the left light stack and piggy-backed onto that.
