I bought one of these earlier in the year,

http://www.reverselogic.us/

used it yesterday with the trolley jack to change over to winter wheels.
I would recommend it to anyone, fits into the jacking point, holds itself in place and gives the trolley jack a good surface to mate to without breaking any of the plastic undertrays. I bought mine on e-bay from the USA for less than a tenner.

Got up this morning and it is minus 7C at the moment, so winter wheels on just in time and job made easier with the jack pad. Just thought I'd recommend to all with MB's made after year 2000.

Thanks for the report. I've looked at those before but my trolley jack has a U shaped platform - I found a hefty piece of wooden door frame works well, although it's always a concern that wood could split.

I do wish the axle stand points (or alternative jacking points, so axle stands could be used at the side jacking points) were more obvious on Mercs

Mine has the U shape platform too, still fits OK though.
