title says it all really. apologies for my lack of time spent and useful input on here recently and continuing for at least another few days due to work/210 commitments.

i have been in touch with the diesel specialist who has given me the number of the guy who does the car side of things for him (the specialist seems to just sort the pumps etc) so i plan, reluctantly, to take the beast to get the pump etc checked and if its the problem, sorted (probably at great expense!) but it seems i have no choice. no spare time, no garage/workshop, limited daylight etc.

Anyhow, i hope this will only be a temporary issue, and i hope to be sorted and back to normal in the near future.

i think at this stage, Malcolm, i need all the luck i can get! i will still be around, just not for as long, at least untill i get sorted for the car to get looked at. i miss having it right already!
