approx cost of resetting the SRS light

What's the approx cost of getting the local Merc garage to reset my SRs light after I tried to fix a combination light switch problem that meant I had to disconnect the airbag (and turn on the ignition to aid diagnostics)?

Or will some garages do it as a complimentary service given the circumstances?
