Are Sprinters pre wired for tachometer?

I have a 310 which has no rev counter,but I would find one useful.Is it possible to fit the instrument cluster from another with the rev counter?If so can the mileometer/odometer be changed to keep the mileage?

Dont know about the tacho bit, but the milometer is a straight swap.
