I want to fit wireless (From cotrol box to display) Reversing Sensors to a SLK. It will mean drilling 4 holes in the rear bumper and then wiring them in. On my wife's MGF you had to disable the Airbag system before doing this. Is this the same on Mercedes and if so how do you do this. Will the wireless effect the alarm?? It will only be on when the engine is running.

Im almost sure that the sensors are in the centre moulding strip, if so it can easily be removed and drilled. if so checK that your drillings line up with the holes in the bumper..
I would expect that the frequency will be different from the radio and alarm..
