Hi guys, I have a small tear in the drivers seat, does anyone know where I can get it repaired in the north west region, I’m in Warrington.

I googled it and got a quote from someone in Rochdale , can’t remember the company name and I never got around to getting mine done so can’t say if they are any good

Seems to happen in a lot of Mercs...driver seat in mine the stitching in the seat base has parted company, plus on the side bolsters ( seat base, and seat back ) the artico has started " Chipping" to reveal the underlay. For a supposedly quality built car, the artico leaves a lot to be desired. Will be interesting to have you share your experience, if you like? And maybe some before / after pics? You are not the only one to have this problem.

Common problem, same with my CLK. Artico crap replaced Mbtex. My 1960 190B has Mbtex, no cracks and looks almost new. It's a little grubby and some stitching has come undone, that is to be expected after 60 years.

I posted years ago with pictures of my R Class driver's seat where it had split on the side of the base cushion. I just picked someone from the web who came & removed the seat, repaired it & replaced it within 24 hrs ..... unfortunately I can no longer find the post
