Finally given in and bought some genuine MB ATF for c230k 5speed, suprised to see it's red in colour, have they sold me the right stuff, it's to MB sheet 236.10 part No. A001 989 2103 01.

Yes it is red when it's new.

Most ATF is red in colour,so that's fine.

Thanks, was under the impression the fluid started off clear in the later box's, which made me wonder if they gave me the right stuff.
