tonight i had a drive in a freind's audi s4 avant v6 twin turbo via 6spd manul & 4wd .this was prob the third drive since he got it as every time he mod's it i have a go to see the change so this time he's gone a bit mad with a new chip+maped decated milltek exhausts then two new big turbo's with three settings 400bhp 450 485 controled via the new retro fited cruise control & a handy feature is you can put the car in a safe mode limiting it to 1200rpm if you leave he car with a garage & dont want joyrider tyre fiters having fun with your car ect .ps it's verrrrry quick http://www.starperformance.co.uk/

I read somewhere about S4 facts and they mentioned that if you go over 1200rpm you risk exhausts problem of some sort.

But if the revs are limited to a mere 1200 - how do you get over 1200 rpm?

My by overing down a hill, and the injectors still dumping fuel down to the cats but I would asume that the it's a fuel cut on over run like most modern motors

the owner is a bit of a audi nut & only used the best posable parts fitted by the best guy in the area who have years of vw-audi exp in tuning .to get the gains he wanted needed more than a remap i think the total spend inc all new turbo's coil over susp exhausts big brake's intercoolers & induction pipe chip+set up on the roller's all work was 9k but he's happy

Hi,
I do like these cars, a friends sister has one.
But due to a failing water pump it apparently wrecked the whole engine, how I don,t know and was very puzzled as to why it would do this. New engine is costing her just over £3000.
A very quick car and with those mods it must go like stink.

i drove it in the rain in stage one that's in the 400bhp mode & i was glad of the 4wd god knows what the race mode is like 500bhp but my mate said best not try it in the rain ..a lot of money for a tune up thou
