Audio 10 cd player for E320 (2000)

Can anyone help me please! recently upgraded Audio 10 casette for a CD model. Rear connections seem identical but i have lost steering wheel control and radio does not turn on off with ignition any more. Anybody had similar experience?

These radios need codings to be done on a star, there are varoius codings needed, model type, interior spec, etc. these will affect the can comunication and there for the steering wheel controls and other things.
