audio 10 cd radio

i am thinking of changing my original becker mexico radio tape from my 1991 sl r129 to an audio 10 radio cd (not purchased yet but there seems to be plenty avalable).i bought a pc 2-11-4 iso adaptor for £3 off ebay removed the old unit out of the car and with the help of an old stereo i had i got it to work the only fault was the spare wire i got with the iso ( i take it its for the electric areal ) i did not know where to instal it as the on the back of the mexico there is a spade connector half hidden behind the power plug that seems to power the areal. on pics of rear of the audio 10 there does'nt seem to be the same connector.also on the old unit there was a 2 pin plug that does'nt seem to have a new home on the audio 10 unit either.another point i came across is the slot for the stereo do i need to change this too. is it worth the aggravation or should i just sing to my self

Does you antenna require a power feed,, you are right in that the audio 10 does not have this, there are other ways

thanks for your quick reply. yes i think so the power feed on the back of the old unit is the one wire (spade conection) behind the multi power plug and without it the areal will not go up .I would be gratefull for any help as i want to get it right in my head before i buy the new unit.

just to confirm its a wire on its own not taped to any other and the areal is also origional although i have replaced the mast. like the rest of the car its 99% origional and i am trying to keep it that thats why i dont want to carve up the electrics

After mu computer crash I cannot find some things,,,I think this is the pin outs on an audio10 you can see the antenna feed here in the A block

I just hope this is the audio 10
