Audio 30 APS Upgrade from 2.5 to Ver.7 PROBLEM...HELP

Hello All,

I just installed my upgrade from APS 2.5 to the latest Ver.7 with the car parked underground...
All went well, except that it cannot pick up any sats!
I took it outside,and waited in vain...but no sats
Another peculiar thing is that when i try to enter the tire size it only takes the first batch of numbers (ie) 215 the rest of the sequence is limited to choosing from 0,1,2...as you can see this is not good.

SO, this is my big problem, tell me what I did wrong (i am guessing the human factor (me) is at fault)

any and all suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

PS: The car is a W210 E270CDi-Estate(Mfctd:Nov 1999)
PPS:The Old version worked like a charm!

I upgraded the Audio 10 to Audio 30 APS in my E220 CDI estate a couple of years ago. Since then I've updated the software from version 5.1 to 6.0 and more recently to version 7.0. I had no problems with the software upgrades, which included an upgrade to the radio, but remember having to wait for the system to search for satellites. This took up to an hour. If you carried out the upgrade in an underground carpark, you may need to let the system search for satellites.

To enter tyre size, you'll need to add a leading 0, for a 215/55R16 tyre, enter 215/055/016.

You were right on both counts as i did have to wait for over 25 min to get the sats...but most importantly...i was dumb enough to not enter the tire sizes properly...please have a good laugh at my expense... after I entered the tire size, Presto! all was well.
